CONTEXT AND MAJOR ISSUE
Dominican mobile market is highly competitive, mainly composed by prepaid customers and characterized by a high churn rate. Orange Dominicana’s major challenge was to improve customers' loyalty by an efficient direct communication and a better visibility of their new offer: “Descuentos Mágicos Prepago”. Orange Dominicana selected Intersec’s technology among others because of its expertise deploying many similar projects, and its capacity to provide cell broadcast on both 2G and 3G networks.
