According to Gartner, the influence of real-time location on customer interactions will grow from today's 4% to 30% by 2022 due to the urge to improve business processes and to engage more with customers by delivering contextually-relevant experiences. Around 29% of organizations are actively using location intelligence capabilities says Gartner. However, they estimate that only 4% of these organisations perform location analytics in real-time.
Indeed, businesses are increasingly leveraging the streaming data generated by all devices, sensors, vehicles and people to take decisions faster.
