Intersec is a winner at the Big Data Excellence Awards!

2018/05/22 - Intersec is proud to announce it won an award in the “Most Innovative Big Data Solution" category at the 2018 Big Data Excellence Awards ceremony, celebrating the top performers working at the forefront of data, analytics, the Internet of Things and Big Data.

Created in 2018, this category recognises the company that has developed the most innovative big data tool considering creativity, usefulness and success. And with not less than 9 nominees, competition was fierce! Nominated alongside great products and services from Dataiku, PRO Unlimited and Tableau, Intersec was recognized for its GeoIntelligence Suite, which helps companies, governments and NGOs leverage data in industries as diverse as transportation, smart cities and telecommunications.

At the awards banquet, held in London on May 16th, over 100 most senior executives were in attendance, including Intersec’s Marketing & Communication Director, Marion Choppin and Director of Sales Engineering - UK and Northern Europe, Samir Mouhssine.

"The explosion of data has never been a more important facet of the IT landscape, and the capture, storing and utilization of these huge amounts of information has never been better showcased than in the exploding application of the Internet of Things, said Tom Allen - Special Projects Editor at Computing-Incisive media, when opening the ceremony.
